Lean, Mean and Green
Okay, so I'm on day 2 of my juice boost and I have to say that I absolutely could not drink my green juice last night for dinner. I had had enough of drinking only juice and my resolve was waning. I had to eat something…anything; my cat’s food was starting to look appetizing. So, I had a couple of slices of an apple I was getting ready to put into the juicer to help sweeten up my green juice, and they tasted so GOOD! The green juice, however, could not be saved. So, I’ve decided to tweak my boost (it’s my boost after all). I will continue to juice for breakfast and lunch, but I will eat veggies and fruit for dinner. Last night I made a green salad and a lemon and olive oil vinaigrette and threw on some raw walnuts for some texture. It was GREAT, and I felt much better. I'm still dealing with the caffeine headache, but I can power through that, no problem. Here’s to a better 2nd day!
